Combined seals
Combined penetrations are very common. These combine the sealing of different types of penetrations, such as cables and pipes, through the wall or floor. Coated rock wool slabs or protection blocks are often used for these types of penetrations. The choice of products used for pipe penetrations through these stone wool slabs or blocks depends, among other things, on the type and diameter of the pipe. Plastic inflammable pipes fireproofing
Plastic pipes melt in a fire. This means that the opening of a pipe must be sealed during a fire. This can be done, for example, by installing a cuff or fire-resistant sealant. As an alternative to the cuff, there is also a fire-resistant chain. A fire resistant collar is a made-to-measure product which guarantees fast assembly. A fire resistant chain can be cut to size for several sizes of penetrations. Which solution is most suitable and can be fitted fastest depends on the diameter and type of pipe, but also on the type of wall. Let us advise you without obligation.
Fire-resistant sealing of non-combustible metal pipes
Often, while these pipes remain intact during a fire, they transmit temperature. Therefore, these pipes should be thermally insulated and these non-combustible metal pipes are also sealed with an acrylic sealant. Insulation shells from Paroc and Rockwool are often used as thermal insulation. There are many types of metal pipes. Depending on the diameter and type of metal, there are various certified solutions. We will be happy to help you select the right, if necessary specifically certified solution.
Multilayer tubes
There are many types of multilayer tubes. An example of a multilayer pipe is an elastomer insulated pipe.
