Whenever the rotating components of a machine pass on vibrations to the surroundings, this can lead to damage of the building and problems with vibrations. Also the contact sound produced by machines can cause a hindrance in buildings. By using calculations, ISOPARTNER determines the right vibration-damping products, which can subsequently be installed under the machine. Whenever a machine radiates too much warmth or becomes too hot, this can also cause problems. When one provides acoustic insulation, one often also insulates thermally. And fire prevention can also be a topic with a machine. ISOPARTNER will gladly make a calculation and give you good advice.
Insulation solutions for mechanical engineering
For manufacturers of machinery, ISOPARTNER develops numerous insulation products that are fitted in or around machinery to reduce noise pollution or improve thermal insulation. Noise pollution can sometimes be tackled directly at the source. For example, by deadening resonating machine guards or by covering a machine hood with sound-absorbing materials. Thermal insulation products are often applied around pipes, exhaust systems and tanks. A combination offering both thermal and acoustic benefits is also possible.
Complete enclosures
In existing or individual situations where a nuisance occurs, a machine can be completely enclosed so that no noise comes out. ISOPARTNER investigates the nuisance and, where necessary, carries out noise measurements to advise on effective and optimum noise reduction. The design takes into account possible exhaust (for developed heat), fire hazard, daylighting within the enclosure, accessibility, etc. Using self-supporting metal and sound insulating elements, a "box" is created around the machine. This enclosure can be optimized by adding: doors, windows, shutters, ventilation systems, lighting, etc. The enclosures are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation and are made of steel, stainless steel or aluminum and with or without color coating.
