Oryx, fire prevention products
The name ORYX® refers to the antelope species that can survive in extremely hot deserts by artificially increasing its body temperature. Oryx products prevent or limit the further spread of fire, smoke and heat.
Oryx Batts
Oryx Batts are available in two versions. Coated along one side (Single) and coated along both sides (Double).
Oryx Batts Single are stone wool slabs with a nominal thickness of 50 mm and a density of approx. 150 kg/m³. The endothermic fire-resistant coating HENSOMASTIK 5 KS is applied to one side of these stone wool boards.
Oryx Batts Double are stone wool slabs with a nominal thickness of 60 mm and a density of approx. 150 kg/m³. The endothermic fire-resistant coating HENSOMASTIK 5 KS is applied to these stone wool boards on both sides.
Oryx Batts can be used for all types of pipe and cable penetrations in walls and floors.
