The solution to noise from outdoor units
The daBo 33 is specifically designed for aesthetic and acoustic screening of outdoor units for facade and/or ground level fence, for small to medium heat pumps and air conditioners, without impairing the performance of the heat pump. The screen is made up of sound-insulating and absorbing self-supporting Sonodamp elements.

Noise reduction of 8 dB
By using our Sonodamp panels with high sound insulation and sound absorption values in combi with a closed-cell sound absorbing façade panel, a high sound reduction of 8 dB is achieved.

Quick and easy assembly
The daBo 33 is easy and quick to assemble. The screen is delivered pre-fabricated in two handy packages making it possible to install the daBo with 1 person within 10 minutes.

Of course, minimum distances from sound barrier to outdoor unit apply. These are based on results obtained with test units and should be determined in consultation with manufacturer/installer.
Capacity
The specific construction and positioning of the screen has little to no effect on the operation of the outdoor unit. This as co-developed and tested by Vaillant with type Vaillant aroTHERM pure.
The screen is widely applicable for similar small to medium heat pumps. It can also effectively prevent noise pollution to the user or neighbors for other brands without compromising the capacity of the unit.
The strength of Sonodamp
The daBo 33 sound barrier is made of the sound insulating and absorbing Sonodamp panel, combined with a sound absorbing façade panel. These materials have excellent noise reduction and technical properties , combined gives an ideal and durable (outdoor) setup.

The energy efficiency and sound insulation of heat pumps must improve for this to be a realistic solution for the future. With daBo33, there is a suitable solution to efficiently reduce noise from a heat pump outdoor unit without compromising heat pump performance.
