ISOPARTNER will assist you, from the design phase to the realization of a heat pump

Complaints about noise pollution from heat pumps are increasingly in the news. To avoid this, as a manufacturer you can already take noise reduction into account during the design of the heat pump and apply sound insulation solutions. After all, if the heat pump is already with the end user, there are only a limited number of possibilities to do something about this. Click here to read more about our enclosures for already installed heat pumps.

In addition, a heat pump must be as efficient as possible. Thermal insulation is therefore essential to prevent heat losses. ISOPARTNER has thermal and acoustic solutions for all elements of the heat pump, the indoor unit, the outdoor unit and for shielding the outdoor unit. Read more on this page about how we think with you at every stage of heat pump development and realization.

Outdoor unit: Insulation solutions inside

In many outdoor units of heat pumps, insufficient consideration has been given to noise reduction. There are certainly options for this, such as an acoustic compressor jacket, vibration dampers, etc. Thermal insulation can also be an important factor in increasing efficiency. ISOPARTNER produces many custom parts for these applications.

Indoor unit: inside unit, also possible for combi units

Thermal insulation in the indoor unit improves efficiency and saves energy. There are often gaps between insulation parts, and sometimes unnecessary costs are incurred when installing insulation during heat pump production. ISOPARTNER can improve this by using PREFAB solutions. Elastomeric insulation is often used in the indoor unit, but PIR and phenolic foam, among others, are also used. Typical applications include insulating the heat exchanger, pipes, etc. Seals are also often used; for example, between insulation parts, to seal valves and lids properly or to prevent the resonance of plate parts.

Outdoor unit: enclosure

A number of heat pump manufacturers choose to provide an enclosure for or shield their outdoor unit. ISOPARTNER can help develop and supply these solutions. Sound absorbing and sound insulating products are used in a casing or shield. Seals are also used between the various parts of the enclosure. Which products are best suited depends, for example, on the design and material of the enclosure or shield.

Acoustic solutions for heat pumps

Heat pumps simply make noise. Most of the noise is made by the fan and compressor. Nevertheless, a heat pump does not have to be noisy. ISOPARTNER can help you avoid noise problems.

Thermal insulation for heat pumps

We see many heat pump manufacturers making attempts to apply thermal insulation around pipes, heat exchangers and other components. Often, thermal insulation is not considered until after the design phase. As a result, there are sometimes gaps between insulation parts and unnecessary costs are incurred in applying insulation during heat pump production. Let ISOPARTNER help you with the solution.

Why insulation for heat pumps?

The energy efficiency and sound insulation of heat pumps must improve for this to be a realistic solution for the future.

What does thermal insulation do for heat pumps?

Thermal insulation improves the efficiency of heat pumps. Prefabricated products can also contribute to cost savings in heat pump production.

What is the benefit of acoustic insulation for heat pumps?

A well-known disadvantage of heat pumps is that they make noise. If everyone is required to use a heat pump to heat homes, offices and businesses, this noise becomes an issue. Acoustic insulation of heat pumps can help reduce the noise and therefore the acceptance of the heat pump.

Where does heat pump noise come from?

Inside the outdoor unit is a large fan and often a compressor. These elements make a humming sound.
