Getzner Werkstoffe
Getzner manufactures polyurethane materials for vibration damping applications in the construction, industrial and railroad sectors. Getzner's solutions and products reduce noise and vibration but also improve the service life of equipment, buildings and infrastructure. In this way, the need for maintenance and repairs to vehicles, structures, machinery and track lines is reduced. Vibration damping polyurethane solutions have unique advantages over traditional rubber products.
Getzner's elastic solutions are based on the materials Sylomer®, Sylodyn®, Sylodamp® and Isotop® .
Isopartner Nederland has been working with Getzner for more than 30 years and has extensive knowledge about solutions and applications of this material. Through the extensive machinery of Isopartner Nederland many Getzner products are processed into specific solutions for OEM, construction and industry.
Sylomer SR®
Sylomer SR is a unique material made by Getzner, Austria, used for vibration isolation of technical equipment, foundations of buildings, railroads, etc. It is made of foamed polyurethane with mixed cell structure, to which dye has been added.
The material is produced in rolls or in one-piece sheets with predetermined dimensions (to size). As an elastic layer between the vibration source and the protected surface (the structure), Sylomer can be used over the entire bearing surface or in blocks or strips (under foundations).
Sylomer FR®
Sylomer FR Marine is a high-performance polyurethane (elastomer) foam that is ideally suited for fire-sensitive applications due to its excellent elastic and fire-engineering properties. Sylomer FR Marine is IMO and MED certified and is available in the standard thickness of 12.5 mm.
Sylodamp®
Sylodamp is an elastic material for high damping. With highly effective material damping, Sylodamp® provides impressive shock absorption. To meet the very different requirements for impact loads, Getzner has developed a product range with six fine-grained material types. Sylodamp® is not only a valuable damper for machines, but also for people and the environment.
Sylodyn®
Sylodyn® is used as vibration protection on local and interurban railroad lines, as well as for the isolation of impact sound in floors and on stairs, as bearing for buildings or machinery, or for the isolation of sound between walls, floors and ceilings. Sylodyn® is a closed-cell elastomer that does not absorb water. Compared to Sylomer®, the material offers better dynamic properties. Five different types of Sylodyn® and three different types of Sylodyn® HRB HS are available from stock. However, the properties can be tailored to specific requirements.
VIBRAFON MPP
Vibrafon multipad bearing is a complex, consisting of vibration damping pads, bonded to a carrier, that can be installed between two building structures to reduce vibration transmission. The vibration damping pads are produced from Sylomer or Sylodyn.
In many cases, the VIBRAFON multipad bearings are placed in the foundation of a building to prevent vibrations from the environment or other building parts (caused, for example, by railroad lines, machinery, etc.). The VIBRAFON multipad is also used to reduce impact sound transmission between building parts and to achieve a box-in-box construction.
