Armaflex Ultima - Cellular rubber for low smoke development in case of fire
With Armaflex Ultima, Armacell has created the world's first flexible closed-cell foam insulation in fire class BL-s1,d0, offering unparalleled fire safety. Compared to a standard product, Armaflex Ultima provides 10 times less smoke production. This means that Armaflex Ultima is approved for use on pipes up to an insulated outer diameter of 300 mm, in escape routes or other rooms and buildings with high surface class requirements.
In addition to pipes and sheets with a wall thickness of 9 to 32 mm, the system also comprises spacers in the same material and special single-component adhesives.
AF/ArmaFlex Evo
The new AF/ArmaFlex generation meets fire class B/BL-s2,d0 and increases fire safety in buildings. AF/ArmaFlex Evo emits 50 per cent less smoke than conventional flexible elastomeric foams, improving visibility in the event of a fire and increasing the time available to evacuate a building.
With its eighth product generation, Armacell presents a new AF/ArmaFlex technology that combines excellent protection against condensation and high energy efficiency with increased fire safety. In addition, the products feature Microban® antimicrobial protection.
