Damping resonances or vibrations by de-embedding
Damping materials are specially designed to dampen resonances or vibrations from thin-walled sheet surfaces of steel or aluminium, for example. Such sheet surfaces transmit air or impact noise to their surroundings and even amplify some tones and sounds because they have few internal damping properties.
Self-adhesive bitumen sound-absorbing sheets add weight to sheet materials in addition to their undulating properties. As a result, they also improve the sound insulation of these boards and can also be used on plastic or wood for this purpose.
Reducing noise with anti drumming materials
Applying deadening materials to one side of the sheet is usually sufficient to reduce noise to acceptable levels. Common applications include steel enclosures, doors, water stops, wash basins, car doors, vehicle cabs and facade panels.
Extensive range for de-stressing
ISOPARTNER Netherlands offers an extensive range of de-dusting materials, from sheet materials to pastes and sprayable compounds. View our full range on our webshop.
Anti-drumming in shipbuilding
Walls and decks in yachts and ships are also made of steel or aluminium. By applying de-drumming, vibrations and resonances can be reduced and good results in noise reduction can be achieved.
Insulation materials for marine and offshore
For situations where weight saving is an important factor, such as in yacht building, ISOPARTNER Netherlands has developed high-performance solutions for maximum noise reduction.
Damping resonances or vibrations of thin-walled plate surfaces
Noise radiation and vibrations from metal sheet metal parts are reduced.
